Third Annual Fishing Derby

Once again the fishing derby was a success despite the weather. We would have had a record turnout but due to the weather some who signed up did not come. We ended up with about 25 children who came to fish and enjoy the day. Along with their families and volunteers we had over 100 people. We had a special volunteer this year, Silly the clown came and made the children laugh with her special talents. She painted faces and made balloon art (fishing poles with fish attached). Our lunch menu was expanded this year and everyone who came had a great time. The children each went home with brand new rods and reels and prizes.
