November 3-7, 2001
On November 3-7, 2001, a 16-year-old with Leukemia who has relapsed twice since the age of 11, requested to go on a big game hunt. First he had to go through a hunters safety course, then Patt Dorsey, a Colorado Division of Wildlife employee, donated the fee to cover an over the counter hunting license. The guided elk hunt was donated and provided by Red Feather Guides and Outfitters. The hunt was a great success!
