Journey 12
August 11, 2003
On August 11, 2003, a 6 year old fighting leukemia went fishing on a boat. Fishing was difficult due to the heat and the falling water level, despite this a great time was had by all. He had three fish on and managed to land one in the boat. This fish was put in the live well and ended up becoming his buddy during the remainder of the fishing trip. During the slow times he even fed it worms. This young man was determined to fish all day and did not want the trip to end. We contracted with Troll-In-Thunder Fresh Water Charters who provided this journey.
