Joseph's Journey is dedicated to providing wilderness experiences to children with terminal and life-threatening illnesses. Our adventures include hiking, fishing, camping, hunting, climbing, and more-- it is up to the child. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, everything we do is made possible through donations and the efforts of dedicated volunteers.
At 13 years of age, Joseph was diagnosed with leukemia. He bravely accepted the news and fought the disease heroically. Joseph died within seven months of the original diagnosis. He never lived to experience the many wilderness journeys he dreamt about. Today, though, other children like Joseph can. Joseph Steuart would have wanted this for all children.
